Do you need a literature search to support research, work-based projects, CPD or a course?  We can carry out searches of major databases on your behalf to identify journal articles, guidelines, systematic reviews, and other evidence-based information.

The results of a search - a list of bibliographic references with abstracts and/or links to websites - will be emailed to you.

To request a search complete the Request a Search form or eMail library@nwas.nhs.uk. 

We normally reply by eMail within two working days with either your search results or further questions to better understand your requirements.

Need a journal article that is not available from LKS ASE?  We can obtain copies of journal articles from other libraries for you.  Simply complete the Request an article form. 

Searching for an eBook that is not in our eBook collections? We will secure a copy for you and add it to our collection. You will need an NHS OpenAthens account to read it.

If your requested title is not available as an eBook we will locate a print copy on your behalf. To request a book eMail library@nwas.nhs.uk

We can provide expert search support to ensure your project is based on the latest evidence. We can also find out how other NHS organisations are approaching your topic through our professional networks.
