Can I download eBooks
Yes, you can download eBooks on to a mobile device. First, you need to download an eBook reader from your app store. The app you need is Adobe Digital Editions. Books can be downloaded for between 1 to 14 days. The eBook will automatically cancel once the loan period has finished.
How do I access eBooks
Go to the https://www.vlebooks.com/vleweb/Account/Logon or click the link on the library website. You will need to sign in with your NHS OpenAthens account.
When I login it says North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust
Yes. Which ever trust you login as it will always say North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust. This is because NWAS manage the financial aspects of LKS ASE. Don't worry about this. Just carry on and read your eBook .
Can I suggest an eBook
Yes, the library welcomes suggestions about specific eBooks or topics you would like eBooks on. Just eMail your suggestions to Library@nwas.nhs.uk.
Can I print an eBook
You can not print an entire eBook. You can print a percentage of an eBook under copyright law and restrictions. VLe Books restricts you to printing the appropriate number of pages.
