Conferences papers play an important role in the publication of research. Research that is ultimately published in peer-reviewed journals may first be presented at a conference. Conference papers are not routinely published in full, however, they may be published as abstracts in journals or published online.

Australasian Paramedic publish proceedings from a number of Australian professional and students conferences.
Look out also for the websites of regular conference such as the 999 EMS Research Forum. From 2023 these are now available on amber.
